Returns and Dock Administrator

This role is based on the transport cross dock and is the go to person in ensuring the successful return and processing of returning freight. The position is a hands on administrator, you'll touch and move the freight and coordinate what is needed to make the process work seamlessly for our customers.
You've already got administration experience, know how freight moves on a warehouse floor or transport cross dock, you'll be fit for work, self-motivated, and you have a current fork hoist licence (ideally F endorsed). Now you want to bring it to a new level within our fast paced transport and logistics company.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. We're located close to Auckland airport with free onsite parking and you'll working with an awesome crew - so it's a great one to snap up.
The What and Who...
Reporting to the Operations Manager - AM Shift you'll be checking and locating returning freight, handling customer collections, data processing and will be interacting with other team members to provide timely reports and information. This means that as an integral member of the team, you'll need to multi-task and juggle priorities and personalities to deliver the work requirements.
Previous experience in checking and locating returning freight would be a massive bonus, and you'll be fit for work and able to move and lift freight as required (25kg+). However, you must have work experience in a freight, transport or logistics environment, and enjoy it, to be considered for this role.
You get a buzz from being busy, you're a quick learner and you have demonstrated that you're accurate and reliable. You're also self-motivated and able to work independently. A bonus is having a good command of Microsoft Office suite - including Excel, and knowing how to use a transport related freight system.
You'll be happy and passionate with answering customer queries, able to solve problems, be strong on attention to detail, and understand the importance of following systems, processes, and policies. Along with this you are a strong communicator and team player, who stays calm when the pressure gets turned up.
